And PES 08 winning the best PS3 game? Stupidity of this plus Mario & Sconic at Olympics as best Wii game makes laugh. They must think that Shak Fu and ET Atari 2600 are the best games of all time or something.

Football/Soccer/Futbol is the most popular sport in the world but it doesn't mean it will always win awards. Simply becuase Europe likes football doesn't mean they can't appreciate other games.

PES has always been a fine game, and I'm betting it will be even better this time around.

all i have to say is wow i did not know God of War: Chains of Olympus was coming to ps2, but pes 08 getting best ps3 game, wow how dumb do u get i mean even if the killzone did not show off videos and only screen shots i would still give it to killzone, killzone beat anygame being shown but that is just what happens in Europe they have to love there soccer

Pro Evo

(its a football game (or scoccer to you americans))

Anyway Its the finest football game ever to hit, and for years has always played best on Ps version (just compare the gameplay of the 360 and PS2 versions of PES6 last year).

EA's FIFA just never makes the cut agaisnt Pro Evo

Yeah otherzinc it's scoccer c'mon you've heard of it right? It's alot like soccer just scoccer. lol J/k resistance. Anyways I am amazed that a European country voted best of show to a soccer game. I mean who would of thought that? lol oh and it's funny just watch Bioshock doesn't win best of show, yet gets amazing reviews, PES win's best of show yet will average between 8-9 on reviews.
