1 - Kid Icarus?
There's alot of rumors going around awhile back, that the real reason Team Ninja was given the chance to make the new version of Metroid was because Retro studios was working on Kid Icarus for the Wii.

If there were to be a Kid Icarus game, that'd be pretty unbelievable. A new KI game has been rumored to be in development for years.
But again, we'll have to wait and see if this even turns out to be true.

"Because of this, a few Japanese gamers are running wild with a rumor that the latest edition of Famitsu has been delayed due to a Nintendo announcement. ...Right now, though, you should keep in mind that all of this is complete speculation. There’s a possibility that there really is no announcement and that Miyamoto may not be talking about any new game(s) on Saturday."
----------
Translation: we're just looking for page hits, so we posted this bit of speculation. I mean...their source is "a few Japanese gamers"? That's like using N4G as a source. The source they give in their link are the Neogaf forums (yes, forums).
And if there WERE anything to the KI rumors, don't you think Nintendo would unveil it at E3?
EDIT: Lots of disagrees, I see. Eh, JMO. I do hope I'm wrong, of course. If Big N announces KI, I'll be over the moon.

It's possible I guess, but Nintendo Everything doesn't need hits, it gets enough as is. Let's add this fact in: Have you seen the scans from this week's Famitsu? No, they don't exist yet. Whether or not it was held because of the announcement is unclear though.

3 - Not necessary
Nintendo doesnt follow the norm like MS and Sony when it comes to releasing info on their games. The IGN podcast said their was a secret "A type game" Nintendo has not talked about. So obviously Nintendo his holding back something.

Zelda was slated to be announced at E3 2010, but I suppose they could have moved it forward. He could have been able to say that because whatever studio that is making the game they are announcing is ready to move into development without him.
