I'm glad there are people out there trying to stop piracy, but posting news about this would just warn the pirates who browse this site not to download it!
Oh well, I don't think there is a way to stop piracy anyways. Plus, the people who already downloaded the game and bricked their DS's were probably dumb enough to not make sure if the file was legit.
Make sure before you download a game, you read comments and ask people if it is legit (a word to the pirates ;P )

I think the purpose of the fake ROM was just to dupe idiots. Not so much thwart piracy all-together. Just my thought though.

EDIT: I take that back. This was written solely to dupe idiot pirates. Apparently it was a few days ago.

good that is what they deserve for being lowlife thieves. get a job and support your hobby. I like gaming so I support the devs by buying their games. If I don't like the dev or publisher ( Capcom & Activision ) I will buy it used to support my local game store instead. If you like your hobby and want it to stick around then support it.

Not a good idea using bootlegged stuff with the DS - hell I think the newer DSes (light and up) were designed to brick easily in order to prevent piracy.
