No More Heroes Not Coming To Xbox 360 Or PS3

One Wii game that the "hardcore" 360 and PS3owners would love to get their hands on is Grasshopper's No More Heroes. Unfortunately, a port doesn't seem likely in the near future.

"Actually, a lot of the fans were dying to play the game on other consoles, so I think it'd be great if I could do it, but there's no plan yet," Heroes designer Goichi Suda told 1UP. He didn't rule out the possibility of the franchise branching out to different platforms, though. "No More Heroes could be a big title, like a big IP, so it'd be good to have a chance to release the game on other consoles, and that would maybe maximize the market."

i can't figure out WHAT the buzz is about. being the "hippest" of my friends, this should be right up my alley.

maybe it gets good, but i stopped cruising the empty streets once i got sick of picking up coconuts for cash.

This game is all about the sweet bosses you face. It just really needed more street fighting instead of coco nuts. The driving was not needed but it's just an elaborate level select.

I appreciate the fact that Sudo is keeping the series on the Wii, however sales wise it doesn't make much sense. The Wii controls for no more heros wasn't revolutionary and would translate just as good or better for PS3/360. I would prefer an HD rez version to be honest.

Off topic: the cell shaded style of NMH reminds me of Jet Grind Radio every time... I would love a remake or sequel. Petition anyone?

No More Heroes is a Wii game. Rumors have swirled for some time that the title was originally planned as an Xbox 360 title, but it ended up on the Wii instead.

Game site 1UP asked Goichi Suda, the game's designer, whether No More Heroes could ever appear on another platform in the future. Im sure it would of been great on the next gen consoles.....problem is you have to commit to next gen or last gen. with high costs for next gen development they take the easier route and stick with the higher fanbase.

Surely if the games sell like "crack" I wouldn't waste my resources and keep making exclusive content for X system. Wouldn't that be the issue the PSP has and why the DS has so many games made for it?

Face it the game companies are making money on the wii and they can see it, only the fanboys keep thinking they aren't...odd

if capcom thinks they can make a profit on RE5 wii i'm sure they will jump that also. Unlike game player the game makers look for something called "profit".

part one was a good game 75% of it atleast, some side quests and missions and all of the fighting was good + good dialog but the open end of the enviornment needed some work, but 360 ps3 shoudnt get any wii games with all the bashing they do. wii owners need to buy part 2 or else we are gonna loose this IP.

This game work on an old school controller? Probably be a bit boring, plus the presentation is cell shaded and we all know how games like that sell on HD systems. Just ask Ubisoft and their latest Prince of Persia title.

The sequel to this game will most likely include motion plus also, and we know neither of the twins have nothing like it to offer. The game was Suda's best selling game ever, so I don't think he's worried about not making a profit on this title.

Did you even research that title before throwing it in to validate your argument? Not only did each version (360/PS3) sell more than NMH, collectively it's nearing 2 million copies sold. So in the process of trying to own the fanboys, you owned yourself :)

You are right about one thing though. On the Wii, 400k sold means that Suda at least made some dough. On the HD consoles, that probably would've bankrupted them.
