The World Ends With You sequel coming to Wii?

Director Tatsuya Kando has expressed interest in developing a sequel to the cult DS game 'The World Ends With You' as well as the possibility of a sequel being developed for the Wii.

Awesome! Another TWEWY would be a warm welcome :)

Though as much as I like the Wii I would like the sequel on the DS. The reason TWEWY is so awesome is the 16bit sprites and the dual battles. You can pull of the graphics but how would they pull off the dual screen combat?

Though it is SE so they probably already have a plan in motion.

After mega man 9 who to say they won't use sprites? Yet a 64 bit type of sprite with good vector animation. As long as the style is there it should be fine. Another thing Maple story needs to come to the Wii also...

Well this would be another game to add to the list.
