Telegraph: Call Of Duty: World At War Review

Telegraph writes: "Call Of Duty is one of the best shooter franchises on the market. It may seem a tad too linear when matched against its competition, but when it comes to providing pure, white-knuckled, visceral shooter action, COD delivers with aplomb.

Its fifth iteration only suffers when compared to last year's Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. The decision to return the action to the World War II theatre seems strange when Modern Warfare's contemporary setting proved such a hit with critics and gamers alike. Also, because World At War is based on the same engine as Modern Warfare, players can't help but feel that this year's COD installment is 'more of the same'."
