I wish Sony or MS would do something about the Wii!

I can't believe the console and it's software are still selling that well... Nintendo needs to get knocked off their high horse, so they are forced to come up with another great Zelda game!

Naaah! I'm just tired of seeing the same titles as their top sellers.

but, seeing as vgchartz is crap, could you post the links which validate what you claimed above me.

A lot of people who hadn't bought into a HD gaming system have snapped up the cheap 360's.

Not only have the prices been slashed, but there are tons of offers available too - like an elite with 4 games for under £200 (instead of £260 for the machine alone) - or arcade units on sale for less that £100 in the supermarkets.
Given the prices and offers, its no wander theres a big spike in sales, and though it will fall a bit, the price difference will ensure the new momentum continues until theres a price cut on PS3...

Who keeps buying all those Wii's? People used to claim the price was what sold the Wii, well the 360 is cheaper so go figure.

Best part of a million units sold in a single territory in a single month! Obviously, these are estimates though, but still impressive for Nintendo.

The thing about the Wii is that it's the complete opposite about what this gen is about...

it's not about graphics , online and format wars...

it's basically just about playing video games a way that it has never been played before..more interactivity and alot of ppl who own both PS3/360 compliments them with a Wii like myself ..even though I hardly play it...

But I think alot fo the PS2 casual crowd are now buying the Wii...just my guess...like VGchartz..lol

9 - I remember the days..

I remember the the days when the PS brand was shyt in hardware, honestly how many PS1 and PS2 did some people go through? I know from personal experience and word of mouth and forums, net that my 5 PS1 and 3 PS2's was ok to some and some people actually managed to only have one PS2 but more than one ps1. Now the PS3 is in it's short life span at the moment and it's looking like Sony learned from it's mistakes, but give MS some credit they are trying hard to rectify the problem ( as big as the hole in the game devision is). I just hope PS3 doesnt have a 5 year life span like most electronics.

Hardware/software sales in Europe looks good, it's just that the chart pie looks like a lot of Nintendomination, let's give credit where it due. We old folks should remember that the tables wasn't always like this. Even I didn't know how they can get back on their feet after the disaster called the N64 ( cart) and purple lunch box for kids ( that kiddie image gasp), but they have come back hard and seem to want to take the whole market not just gamers but everyone. As a core gamer I don't care as long as I find entertainment to enjoy. If your a fanboy and have only one system, power to you but I understand if you want to concentrate on one system. I sometimes look at my game office and man.. I have 2 Pc's running quad screens Xbx360 on plasma, and wii beside it, my DS on the table.. so many games... ahhhhhhhh. PS system not far off, just missing PS3 but I will wait, maybe Street fighter 4 will make me get it, I cant play with the xbx360 controller on SF remix HD to save my life. OMG that D pad SUCKS TO HIGH HEAVEN!!11

Anyways waiting patiently for NPD numbers now.

Didn't M$ just claim that they sold 7 million in EU but according to VG it s at almost 9 million more proof VG is a joke just like Metajoke, Bruce on games and Mikey Patcher. I seriously dont know why Sales mean anything to anyone except shareholders in M$, Sony or Nintendo you fanboys will not be receiving any royalty cheques in the mail any time soon for a$$ kissing so why do we need to keep showing this crap. People are so obsessed with what sold what these days and I don't get it when we had SNES and Sega no cared about what sold what we only cared about the games, there was no Trophy's/Achievements, and the only time you heard any type of fanboy rant was when you went to school and kids would argue over PBnJ what level they were on or why they couldn't beat such boss on such level , seems like these same 12yr olds moved onto the next gen and decided that it s not about levels and bosses now it s about who sold what and because 1 reviewer says this game is no good you have to follow with what he said I think some of you people need to go see a hypnotist and get this brainwashed attitude out of your system and just enjoy the games like people use to.

vg chartz is news,new to this site but shouldn,t it be in the spam area they know nothink when it comes to numbers any where.its all a bit of a guessing game even gfk,npd can,t give you actual numbers,the fact that npd tracks less than 70% off all retail and online stores says a lot.i,m sure amazon doesn,t supply npd either and thats one of the biggest online retailers out there.
