IGN: Iron Chef America DS Review

Iron Chef America: Supreme Cuisine may be a Cooking Mama clone, but it's also not a bad one by any means. When looking at the two packages, each have their own odd quirks, and it just so happens that while the gameplay is a bit stronger in Iron Chef overall - the vs. structure is fun, the ratings at the end of each match is far more suspenseful than a regular letter grade system, and there's more of a full-on cooking feel, rather than going slowly from step to step - the presentation isn't as hot, and you're still at the end of the day picking up something that's nearly identical in core gameplay to Cooking Mama's design. The characters have the random super-deformed look (also shared on Wii), and the interface - while easy to use - isn't always the slickest setup. All in all though, Iron Chef America: Supreme Cuisine is a worthy contender in DS's kitchen coliseum.
