What are the best-selling games in America, Japan, and Europe on Amazon this week? Grand Theft Auto IV returns on the top of the PS3 chart. After a discount sale, NCAA Football 09 rises to the top of the Xbox 360 chart again. And Wii Fit stays on the healthiest spot of the Wii chart.

It's Amazon... In Japan, easiest place of the world to get on games... People will most likely get from amazon what they cannot find easily on a store, unless it's a super mega popular game like GTA on west, that did that great on Amazon and on stores (choose GTA because it's multiplat, no console hate). Besides, 360's crew on Japan is actually pretty much the same profile of Western, think about it, if it wasn't, if the appeal come to japanese gamer profile, it would sell way more 360s on Japan (not saying it will not happen or not changing, with current MS efforts).

Amazon is only one of many retailers in ALL regions. It reflects what is being sold on Amazon, nothing more. As far as the buying habits of the Japanese, I wouldn't mind seeing a link supporting your assertion.

No big surprises this week. GTA, Madden, Wii Fit and MGS are still selling great. Odd to see Halo 3 creep its way back up though. That's kinda random.
