Gamer 2.0 reviews Mega Man Star Force 2

Danreb Victorio reports:

''The Mega Man Star Force series was supposed to be a complete revision of the tired Mega Man Battle Network series that spent most of its time being milked on the Game Boy Advance. Unfortunately, when Star Force was finally released, the game ended up being too much like its predecessors. Less than a year later, Capcom has released the sequel, and the game is so much like the first that we can't even differentiate the two all that well.

Star Force 2 takes place two months after the events of the previous game. Geo Stelar is still a fifth grade kid who stays cooped up in his room all day with his annoying alien friend, Omega-Xis, who crashed into the planet in the previous game. There really isn't much to say about the story; it's just a mash-up of events and corny dialog that we wouldn't be surprised to see the abysmal anime production studio, 4Kids Entertainment, take as its own.''
