Bob Dole wishes he had that game for his SNES. Oh well. He still has super-punchout and Zelda... and starfox. Can't forget that one.

3 - Shame..
it's a shame that Square-Enix are just, from what the trailer looks like, porting the Snes version over the DS.

Surely they could of made it into 3D like the Fan-made Chrono Trigger project that they put a halt to. It's obviously why they did that now!!

Oh well, it's better than nothing I suppose!!

4 - Damn
It looks like its a port rather than a remake. I hope I'm wrong.

That music is timeless (hehehe), have all the soundtracks and the Brink of Time arranged album and it never gets old. What happened to instantly memorable RPG music like that?

nobody were talking about this game until the PS1 remake with AMV and now everybody loves it since the Snes times... Terranigma kicks Chrono Trigger ass any day but because it's not a SquareSoft game then nobody knows it or cares.

poor Enix. http://upload.wikimedia.org...

7.1 - Terranigma was a great game, but I'll give you that
you got a point there....I wonder how many played that game, no wonder Enix joined Square. Great jRPGS, and the music is awesome.

8 - i don't want a DS
man i hope they release this game on PSN as a PS1 port so i can play it on my PSP! this is my favorite snes game OF ALL TIME.
NO i wont buy a DS again. I'm like the only person on this planet that doesn't like the DS. most of the games are gimmicky (suprised!)
i don't like playing games with a pen, or blowing on my system or touching something to shoot it. It's like 50% of the all DS games are whac-a-mole.

Quite frankly I'm tired of Square's bullsh!t. With this and all the FF remakes I'm starting to wonder if they'll ever make a new ip. I can play this for free on the computer. I'm tired of them stealing my money

9.1 - ? what?
They got tons of new IPs on the 360. Infinite Undiscovery is one coming out. And wasn't Lost Odyssey from one of Square's smaller offices? It had lots of Final Fantasy similarities.

There is another IP coming out as well for the 360 but I forgot its name.

like i would waste money on this, come on Square... it might be one of my fav JRPG's but that doesn't make it an excuse to release a port for the ds, when you could just release on the virtual console...

its nice that they ported it to the DS, its the best place to play such a game in, but seriously, this isnt what people wanted from this franchise, they want a full fledged 3D remake.

What is the point of buying this for the third time if it is not a remake, just a port? The extra dungeon? Wow, gee I guess square is really putting up some effort on this one.

14 - Sigh...
I'm very disappointed that this is for the most part a direct port... However, it seems as though we'll be able to play multiplayer, with each person controlling a different character, so they got at least one thing from the wish-list right. :)

It's a shame....They could have spruced up the graphics a bit more.....It looks pretty much unchanged....classic music though!

17 - Sorry Square-Enix...
...But after having 2 copies on other 2 consoles, and bought the soundtracks, I don't feel like spending my money on it a third time, since its just a port with extra bells and whistles.
