IGN: Gauntlet hands-on and videos

Remember Gauntlet? Too many veteran gamers to count grew up with the addictive arcade title, which practically sucked away quarters as temporary wizards, elves and warriors struggled to fend off a never-ending stream of enemies. The franchise has survived for two decades and seen more sequels and ports than most classic brands, and while its core mechanics have rarely changed, the experience somehow stands the test of time. Now, Gauntlet is coming to Nintendo's handheld, as IGN first reported earlier this month. The portable iteration will arrive complete with 3D action on both of Nintendo's screens, an online four-player mode and yes, even voice-chat. But what of the fundamental play controls and mechanics?
