Interview: Square Enix Talks Final Fantasy DS

One of DS's most fervent supporters is RPG powerhouse Square-Enix, which has a pair of Final Fantasy adventures to enjoy during the opening half of the year, including Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings, released in February, and Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates, out later this month.

Recently, Kikizo had the opportunity to speak with the developers behind these two titles. They discussed the challenges in bringing Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings to life with producer Eisuke Yokoyama and writer/director Motomu Toriyama, while they delved into the secrets of Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates with director Mitsuru Kamiyama and executive producer Akitoshi Kawazu.

Two very good games right there. Nice interview and I'm looking forward to more DS games made by Square Enix. They just make great use and mixture of the touch and button controls

i just wish revenant wings was a bit more serious and related to the original ff12 plot(seemed a little dumed down for the youger audience) still a good game though

2 - i dont understand
y Square wastes there time with these half @ssed handheld final fantasy games when they should be working on final fantasy XIII. i f square would not waste so much time with other games, they could almost be done with FFXIII by now...
