My Saturday mornings as a kid usually consisted of Teenage Mutant Ninja turtles and a slew of other cartoons with rad attitudes. The generation following mine grew up with slick anime shows like Dragon Ball Z and Yu-Gi-Oh! The latter is a game that spun off a popular card game that plays a lot like Magic the Gathering called Duel Monsters, just like in the anime. Naturally, it also spun off a bunch of video games and the latest is Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's Stardust Accelerator World Championship 2009.

It doesn't matter if you believe in the "heart of the cards" or not, there is some serious, hardcore gameplay behind the game of Duel Monsters. There are so many monsters, spells and traps that the combination for effective strategies is nearly limitless. Each battle isn't a simple formula of crunching numbers, you need to think a couple of moves ahead of you opponents. You need to think about constant one-upsmanship or you will lose the duel and have to keep finding an effective strategy to progress..."
