1UP: Grid DS Review

GRID comes saddled with flaws -- the most glaring of which is how difficult it is to determine how fast you're driving. Since the cars feel like hovercrafts, the wall-barrier color palette occasionally matches the road (making it hard to notice a turn), and the A.I. is stuck on predetermined routes with little regard for your current position. This causes some races to turn into unintentional demolition derbies, as the D-pad control scheme lacks the analog precision of GRID's console counterparts.
