1UP: MySims Preview

EA has included an invite-only multiplayer system, where players must manually add their friends' EA.com login names before they can play together online, a la Nintendo's friend codes. "It's good for parents," says Product Manager Edward Chang. And though the feature set may seem simple, at least the developers are giving players something to do. (Hear that, Animal Crossing?) It looks like a fun, safe way for the younger set to get creative online.
