Between leaked screens, ESRB rating info, and even tacit admissions from the producer himself, Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia has been one of gaming's worst-kept secrets these past few months. Producer Koji "IGA" Igarashi finally lifted the lid on this long-stewing pot Wednesday night at a San Francisco pre-E3 event, revealing...well, a Castlevania game.
You should know the drill by now: It's a DS action-platformer with a mix of sprites and massive polygon-based jointed bosses (which occasionally drift into the third dimension, but are usually content to exist in a single plane). Players control a hero -- actually, a heroine this time -- and seek to put a stop to Count Dracula and his "bad world full of evil," as the saying goes.
