The Sun Reviews Advance Wars: Dark Conflict

The Sun writes:

"This is the second DS version of arguably the most addictive series of rock paper scissors-style war strategy to ever grace a handheld.

Gone are the cutesy characters in place of a more serious and darker story about a Mad Max apocalyptic future but the new graphics don't work as well. At times it can look a bit like an 1980s Commodore 64 role-player.

But the rock solid conflict system remains untouched and while the one-player mode may not have the longevity of its predecessor, this has online wireless play.

That means you can play anyone around the world ensuring that this war is good for another few months...at least."
