Gameplanet Gives 5/10 To Sight Training

1/22/08 - Jon Valjean of Gameplanet writes:

"Sight Training follows in the footsteps of the highly popular yet highly dubious Brain Training, and attempts to persuade us to take a series of short sight training tests on a daily basis. These tests are designed to improve the following five aspects of your 'Focus Ability', we're told."

Ups: Some of the sports games are quirky, some of the core tests will elicit a giggle. May possibly benefit your sight.

Downs: Unlikely to benefit your sight, tests are repetitive and restrictive, instructions are obtrusive and tips are unnecessary.

Bottom Line: Falls short of the standard set by Brain Training, which wasn't exactly set very high.
