OXCGN’s Battleship Review- Who sunk our battleship?

OXCGN:

"When I put the game into my Xbox the last thing I expected was a first person shooter but guess what, that’s exactly what it is.

If you’re anything like me, you would be simultaneously disappointed and excited by this prospect.

Disappointed because Battleship didn’t actually need much improvement being the amazing game it already was and excited because first person shooters are my favourite genre."

This one was intriguing to begin with, but then just looked ridiculous, like the movie.

There are so many cool ideas out there to make into films and games and someone says: hey lets meld the board game into a big blockbuster, and someone else says "yeah, great idea!"

?????

Next thing you know they'll be making a Jumanji film.

i still cannot understand how they turned the board game battleship into the movie, I'm at a loss for words. who played battleship and then thought up this movie for it?

You could say the same thing about the movie "Clue" starring Tim Curry. Which I think is a brilliant comedy.

Though I completely agree with you on Battleship. Lol ;)

Boom bang shoot...that's all people want in a film and game?

Pfft.

Proeliator4363d ago

Expecting anything from a movie game? Ha!

B-5!

When I first saw the preview I still didn't see how they made it into a movie. Weren't they also making a monopoly one or was that fan made?

[edit]
