Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory Review - JPS

"Over the years NISA has published some interesting RPGs, but only a few of them were really successful. Among this list is Neptunia, which is an RPG about the game industry and really games in general. Naturally this spoke to a lot of people and the original game became quite the collectible. Shortly after the sequel, Neptunia MK II released with even more buzz than the original. Now that the third title in the series, Neptunia Victory is out in the US, will it remain a success or has the concept played out?" - JPS

Can't wait for the Vita versions!

Nice to see the game get good reviews for what it is, a niche game that will be enjoyed by fans of the original game. One of the few reviews that do not make a big deal out of the art style & clearly Japanese stereotypes.

For me i'm still waiting for NISA to send the game, i expect it next week i hope.

Glad to see another person likes the game.

Kinda surprised to see this game doing quite well. Used to see low scores for the Neptunia games but this new one seems to be pulling off great.

Funny how they keep bringing this games stateside every year and not better games like the tales series.

Different companies do things differently. Namco Bandai is afraid of FPS sales; they think their games won't be able to compete with juggernauts like CoD, so they're reluctant to release them.

NIS and ATLUS, on the other hand, don't care about that. They know they've got a fanbase here in the West that will buy their games(like me), so they have their Western divisions localize the games almost every time.

It's interesting, because the larger company is more afraid of the potential losses than the big one.
