MasonicGamer.com: We are seeing a drastic increase of action MMO’s and action MMORPG’s lately. If you haven’t heard about them, or if you are living under a rock for the past 3 or so years, these action-based MMO’s play a bit more arcade-like or have a bit more of a console fighter style to them. You have free aiming, meaning you don’t have to select enemies first, and of course the mouse based combat in which you have to tab mouse buttons in the same style as you would mash console controller buttons. Combine both and you have to focus more on the decisions and choices of your attacks. Are they really that innovative or is it nothing more but a bunch of false claims towards their actual gameplay?
