"the graphics are fantastic"

Is he blind or delusional? Or was he paid to write so?

Drekken4384d ago

D3 graphics, art, and animations all look good maxed out.

Psychotica4384d ago

D3 looked good to me when I was playing the Beta..

PixL4384d ago

If you don't understand the difference between "good" and "fantastic", I rest my case.

A random screenshot http://scr3.golem.de/screen...

Not even HDR shadows and any advanced lighting. I understand they want to make it run on a wide range of machines but why lie to people calling this "fantastic" when it's plainly not?

kevnb4384d ago

because it looks good?

wicko4384d ago

"Not even HDR shadows"

That's not a thing so that shows how much you know.

jthamind4384d ago (Edited 4384d ago )

wow, that's nuts. i know Diablo 3 isn't a graphically intensive game, but still. i'm actually running two HD 6850's in crossfire, so it's nice to know i can apparently get up to 145 fps. lol.

pandehz4384d ago

Diablo 3 and benchmarking shouldnt be in the same sentence...wooops

Zechs344384d ago

Alright troll go feed your machine to "Omg teh KrYzes leetz" and let us enjoy a game that has more substance, personality, and replayability than the irrelevant rig killers.

pandehz4384d ago

In what part of my comment did u feel i was dissing the game?

chukamachine4384d ago

You could run that on PS3/360 at 60fps.

Kenshin_BATT0USAI4384d ago

I've no doubt you could run it on a ps3 or 360 but at 60fps with it looking it's best? Hell no lol

Trenta274384d ago

This definitely isn't fantastic.

Cyberpunk and No Man's Sky have to be up there. We're lucky and cursed, equally, to have games that can be updated now. For folks old enough to remember the Sega/SNES into PS1 and even 2 eras, if a game came out that was half baked (*cough*Angel of Darkness*cough*) that was it, no redemption. At the same time, having the option for updates shouldn't be an excuse for half assing games.

thorstein99d ago

I remember when the Nintendo Seal of Approval meant something.

All those games had to release without bugs.

shinoff218399d ago

Comebacks shouldnt be a thing in videogames. Just saying.

Diablo III - Still a Huge Draw in the Face of Diablo IV

Diablo III still works on modern PlayStation and Xbox consoles, and remains hugely playable a decade after initial release.

Palitera408d ago

Are you comparing a continuously improved 10+ years old masterpiece with the... beta of an unreleased game?

kevco33407d ago

Heh, yeah. There's no comparison in here! Its a commentary on how III is still very playable over a decade later.
