OMG.. my excitement for this game can not be contained

ethan4411d ago

I agree! I'm loving that seriously epic boxart as well!

VanillaBear4412d ago

I still don't understand all the "Connor will be neutral" BS Ubisoft keep going on about

After everything we've seen so far...

Teaser Trailer
Screenshots
Artwork
The Boxart
Even Connors outfit which has blue parts, same colour as the Americans

All hint towards that he's not neatural and that the redcoats are the bad guys...I mean why are they lying

It just goes against everything the part AC games have taught us about America and the Templars, fi the Assassins are nearly wiped out in the present then surley this would of been a perfect oppotunity to show the downfall of the Assasins by making them the redcoats, since they lost the war...it would explain how the Templars got control in other parts of the world and made America a more controled Templar run country

I feel like they just made America the "good" guys so they don't p*ss anyone off. It's better to let British people get p*ssed off (a small country) more then America...a bmuch, much bigger place.

Rampaged Death4412d ago

Does it matter how big which country is ? The story is going to be fictional just like all the other games so they don't offend people and get the game banned.

lh_swe4412d ago (Edited 4412d ago )

I think you're reading a little bit too much into this...it's just a trailer, keep a lid on your conspiracies until it's released. Pointless to get in a hissy fit about pure speculation.

VanillaBear4412d ago

Whats the point doing it after when it's too late to do anything

Honestly people who that bug me......should we stop complaining about the new dmc and wait untill it comes out to complain.... ¬¬

and for the people saying "Does it matter"....yes it does because like I've said it goes AGAINST EVERYTHING the previous games have told us.

It's about story, not personal feelings.

Jeez look into the backstory of the templars in the past AC games and you'll know why this all seems wrong.

Nimblest-Assassin4412d ago

Bro give it some time. I mean really we haven't seen any real gameplay.

I mean, at least play the game, hell Ubisoft is a french company. All the people getting pissed of that the game is pro america with the barebones info we have is ridiculous.

Go like this on facebook/slash tweet it so we can see the gameplay

-Doctor-BD4412d ago

@ VanillaBear
But the Americans were the good guys....
P.S. I'm not American.

omi25p4412d ago

There are no good guys in war.... Just people fighting for what they think its right..

pwnmaster30004412d ago

Yeah they were.
They went to America to get away from Britain rule and Britain followed and invaded

omi25p4412d ago

i agree. At the moment im completely uninterested in this game.

All it seems to be is killing English, Who cant be templars because that means the Assassins won the war.

Which is completely against the entire lore of the game.

iamnsuperman4412d ago (Edited 4412d ago )

I think its really down to advertising to the American people. Assassin's creed is very popular in Europe but less popular in America (I know I am probably alone on this but I think it is the main reason they chose America as a location look at the publicity this game has got since announcing it is in America). It is annoying that Ubisoft say one thing but we see the exact opposite but lets see what happens.

Kaos_Vll4412d ago

I assume your constant hate for this game comes from first-hand knowledge of AC3's story? Do tell us all about...

Looks awesome

Ps: I used to run from assassins, then I took an arrow to the leg (should be knee, but he wasnt shot in the knee)

Nimblest-Assassin4412d ago

No if you look carefully he was shot below the knee making your comment invalid.

He was shot in the leg... jesus Skyrim has ruined the idea of an arrow hitting someone in the legs.

jdfoster4412d ago

Everyone go to unite like the trailer says and help unlock the gameplay trailer!!!!

So excited for this game! Love the AC franchise.

bronxsta4412d ago

I dont have a Facebook or Twitter page (I know, shocking, a teenager without a social network) so can anyone give me the details?

Mainly, when the deadline is so I know when the full trailer will be released

peeps4412d ago

Games with the dumbest NPCs

Non-playable characters in certain games are meme material, thanks to their foolish behavior. These are the big-budget games with the dumbest NPCs.

Bethesda makes the most consistently stupid NPCs, like really bad... yet I still can't help but love playing their games. Guilty pleasure, I guess. *sigh* 😩

How did redfall not make the cut.

Every Bethesda game and Every Halo game. This list needed to have Cyberpunk somewhere.

My first thought was the safe rooms in the resident evil series. When you hear that enchanting music you know you’re safe.

Killer2020UK311d ago

I literally just came here to post this. That music in the Resi 1 safe rooms is playing in my head.

Rimeskeem311d ago

I was thinking TLOU work benches. Although I remember one time where it was a false security.

closed_account311d ago

Perfect. 👌👌

I'd add the top of my highrise apartment in GTA Online. That calm, quiet peace, just knowing as soon as I step out that door I will be bombarded by 8 and 12 year olds calling each other n**** and f****, trolled by combat jets and rocket launchers.

The entire map of SotC is peaceful as hell. Used to just ride around exploring it.

mastershredder311d ago (Edited 311d ago )

Afterlife in Cyberpunk 2077 is a peaceful area? Erm, hands down and very hard to miss, Misty Olszewski's Esoterica is the absolute epitome of peaceful areas in that game.

raiden_188311d ago

The "last of us" deer location i found to be a welcoming respite. It was nice to not have someone trying to eat me.

RPGer311d ago

Kingdom Hearts tend to present half peaceful areas and most of them are amazing.

'Assassin’s Creed III': Ten Years Later

With the recent reveal of Assassin’s Creed Mirage and the promise that the series will return to its roots, there hasn’t been a better time to get stuck into Assassin’s Creed’s back catalog, whether it’s replaying an old favorite or getting lost in previously looked-over classic.

Ten years later, we miss the old you, Assassin's Creed.

Popsicle585d ago (Edited 585d ago )

I really enjoyed Assassins Creed 3. My only complaint was that I didn’t enjoy when I had to switch from Connor to Desmond. It’s a personal preference, but Connor’s story was just more fun for me.

On a side note, Black flag was the most enjoyable of the AC games I played.
