For reals. This game was awesome and I've played it so much in the past because there weren't many other good Captain America games.
i always thought it was hilarious that in the shooter segments it looked like cap had an infinite amount of shields that he can throw.
Back in the day I gave this a shot because the lines at the X-men cabinet were too long, and it was a quarter instead of 50 cents... it introduced me to these characters, and to this day it remains one of my favorite arcade games, and I'd love to see at least a direct port of the arcade game. The Genesis version was decent, but none of them got it completely right.
It's because Data East no longer exists. It was bought out long ago.
