It must be difficult to make an annual sports franchise. After all, sports themselves rarely change, save for a few new faces or some different sponsors. There’s only so many new ways you can implement to pass the ball in a football game, for example. This is the problem also faced by Codemasters. DiRT Showdown is itself the sixth game in the rally series, and before that there were five previous Colin McRae instalments. Cars driving really fast through mud is ever watchable on TV, but has enough been implemented to warrant buying it for an eleventh time in video game form?
Codemasters and the folks behind the Humble Store have teamed up again for a massive giveaway, and this time they are offering DiRT Showdown for free.
Neil writes "Last week's Xbox Live Deals With Gold sale was, quite frankly, a bit rubbish. But we can forget all about that as there's a new sale in town and this one will be running between the 8th-14th November 2016. Surely it's got to bring us a better set of bargains? Well, check out the full listing below."
Devil May Cry Defnitive Edition for 10€ sounds reasonable, doesn't it?
I have never played it.
Can you guys recommend it?
Microsoft has once again released another batch of backwards compatible games which are now ready to play on Xbox One and Xbox One S consoles.
This games already were Backward compatible.
The update made it so that we could use the Xbox One Wheel Control with them, for better racing. This should have been the news.
I would love to play Splinter Cell Blacklist with increased performance and VSync enabled. Come on Microsoft, make it happen.
They need nore Japanese published games on the BC list.
I'm waiting for.
Dark Arisen.
I wish PSO exclusives like FF7, FF9 could be released on Xbox One.
I love how the biggest selling point of the Xbox One is the ability to play last generation games. Don't get me wrong, Xbox 360 had one of the best lineups in console history... Xbox One has one of the worst.
