In Toronto, Canada a trio of events are being held that looks to combine great indie artists and designers under one specific task. They are presenting to the world the intriguing mash up of Comics vs Games. Being huge fans of both comics and video games, Twinfinite approached the curator of the event, Miguel Sternberg, with an interview.
Miguel’s experience in the game industry is large as his art has been featured in films like Crank, the rear cover of Scott Pilgrim Gets it Together and he was a co-founder of Capybara Games. As well as curating, he put together the game Black Church Brigandage for this event with Andy Belanger.
In the interview he also discusses his upcoming game They Bleed Pixels
New week, new deals! James Bell is here to share ten sweet Nintendo Switch deals available right now on the US and UK eShops.
Gaming Boulevard wrote a review of They Bleed Pixels, explaining it's one of the best indie games ever.
As an anonymous student of the Lafcadio Academy for Troubled Young Ladies, you must battle through your nightmares to defeat a curse that’s slowly transforming your body into a clawed demonic form. Originally released for PC in 2012, They Bleed Pixels balances a perfect mix of fast-paced acrobatic platforming and fierce, one-button, slash 'em up combat. By suppressing their urge to button mash in favor of focusing on stylish and smart kills, players are rewarded with a checkpoint they can choose when to place for safety... or try their luck by holding onto it for extra bonus points.
