In a weird twist, Battleship the Game is not based on the boardgame, but on the film-that's-based-on-the-b oardgame, although as it happens this is probably for the best, because this game is most certainly aimed at an age group who’s sole knowledge of ‘board games’ is Skate 3. We're talking about kids, by the way.
Battleship follows the same plot (If you can call it that) as the film – Aliens with the ability to cross galaxies decide to obliterate all of humanity, for some reason starting with the US Navy, rather than just glassing the surface of the Earth from orbit.

This game gives me nausea because of how bad it is. I'm serious, everytime I look at gameplay for this, I feel disgusted.
