Finally, I never understood those rants on how it would affect the single player mode anyway. Reminds me of the ranting that went on when Uncharted 2 was said to have multiplayer.

Thanks for the video, after see all of it I'm intrigue by how the story turns out and the combat seems more brutal than ever,the way that cyclopes flesh wiggle like that was nasty and more than I expected.

We cannot make ANY judgements from this PR speak, only from the final product and ME3 sure as hell suffered for multiplayer so I'd keep a skeptical look until proven otherwise by results.

the only worry i had when they announced multiplayer was that singleplayer would suffer as a result, but it seems as if they're main focus is still singleplayer, which makes me a happy bunny.

it seems that Sony are really going for it this year with BIG game announcements such as LBPKarting, Battle Royale and now this... couple this with a price drop and we could see the biggest Christmas sales Sony have had so far with the PS3.

keep the PS4, i'm set for at least another two years with the PS3

Uncharted 2 is a great example of multiplayer in a single player game going right

90% (Cosgroves "Statistics") of the time tacking multiplayer in a game which has always been about the single player fails...we all know that because we've seen it happen before. It dosen't matter who the studio is, their reputation or respect in the industry it CAN go wrong.

God of War isn't any differen't

People can't stay open minded, especialy gamers

They pick whether they like the "idea" of something not if it will actually work. It's the reason why hype plays a big part in a games review scores and even sales.

Look at Elder Scrolls as you've mentioned, gamers like the idea of online being added but don't think about what would actual happen longterm if Bethesda did add the feature.

I think people want the multiplayer to succeed, but because of not keeping an open mind about the feature is that when it comes out they will want it to work so much that if the worst happens and it's terriable then people will not want to admit it.

As you can already see people are already picking sides wether or not this will work, and no matter what you say will change their opinion

Kratos and his complexion is of interest to me. The idea that we will see a more human, less vengeance fueled psycho, side of Kratos also sounds intriguing.

On the live stream and interviews, he acknowledges everything that your thinking right now. They are aiming to make the single player better than 1-3. I hope so but just wait and see. E3 is a start.

Not really sold on Multi-player, but will keep an open mind. I hope Ascension is able to channel a better pace than GOW 3. Don't get me wrong, GOW 3 was great, I just felt it peaked a little early.

Ahhhhhh..... Sweet GOW goodness. I couldn't care less what anyone says. It will be good to pick up the old chain blades again and start slaying some monsters again. People get caught up0 in so many microscopic details that they forget to enjoy the game.It's Kratos and you kick God and monster @$$ epically. Who cares if he is not as buff or if the MP might suck or if you went back or where they started from. That is why people can't enjoy games anymore. You are to busy listening to how a shotgun sounds or seeing how yellow the sun is or how many times a character blinks his eyes and how many blades of grass you can see.

I'm glad that this isn't the continue of the last game, that way people like me, who haven't played some of the previous games, could understand, more or less, the story line.

Loath the idea of prequels. Nothing exciting can happen because you KNOW how it all turns out "in the end". Prequels are a milkers dream when they've written the story to a wall.

On the bright side though, at least this time Kratos won't "Ooopsie" and lose all his powers in the first 5 minutes. (Something Ezio is also rather guilty of)

What I'm interested is how can the prequel top the last game in the franchise considering he has defeated the most powerful foes he can fight.

GOW:A must have some amazing set-pieces or unique boss fights that simply could not be possible in the production of GOW3 at that time.
