I'm actually looking forward to Creed 3. Hope he doesn't screw this up!

dark-hollow4383d ago

"He also requests that the court prevent the release of Assassin’s Creed III and anything related to it."

that would backfire on his ass so hard!

gamers are so hostile when it comes to these matters.

TekoIie4383d ago

Assassins creed is one of the best franchise's this gen. I will be one of those people if he prevents the release! I will defo be willing to stoop that low just for him!!! >:D

Persistantthug4383d ago

Trust me....

Any potential backlash would be minimal.

MAJ0R4383d ago

I hope it does, but this is just another example of how America's lawsuit system is broken.

SnotyTheRocket4383d ago

If he won (he wont), it would be cool if Ubisoft "Accidentally" leaked the full game.

Spydiggity4382d ago

it's pretty obvious his lawyer tacked on that part so that they could hope for a bigger settlement.

UBI will have to pay him so the game will come out only he will get rich from it too.

smashman984383d ago

Lol he isn't gonna win this case in the end, all that's gonna is this guy is gonna lose lot of a money fighting a case that is redeundant

J86blum4383d ago

I agree with you. I am also looking fword to ACIII, I did skip the last one in all honesty.

RXL4382d ago

FACTUAL evidence4382d ago

Bioshock infinite in trouble? GTA5 in trouble? Halo 4 in trouble!? In before the crap journalist I guess...

BeardedGent4382d ago

Me too. I doubt anything major will come of it, perhaps a slight delay in release. Perhaps that's not being too hopeful.

fuck that guy hes probaly a templar if he prevents this game from coming out he will get my blade to his throat !

Pumbli4383d ago

Haha, well said. The though of that damned idiot as a Templar is pretty funny.

Dark114383d ago

wow , this is Big Trouble

Dark114383d ago

what with the Disagrees?
this is a serious trouble people.

RememberThe3574383d ago

No it's not. The author said at most the guy would get 5 mil, thats not very much the Ubi.

TekoIie4383d ago

@RememberThe357

He also wants a major franchise to get shut down... This is a big deal for gamers...

RememberThe3574383d ago

Thats what they always say. Have you never read about these kind of court cases before? It's meant to put pressure on Ubi to settle. They're not going to let their flagship franchise be delayed because some guy wants 5 million dollars. If the court finds that guy has grounds then Ubi will just pay him and move on.

attilayavuzer4382d ago

And if you read the article you can see there's no way in hell he could ever win this case.

Assassins Creed 3 doesnt interested me in the slightest. I feel the series has slowly been going downhill. But this is ridiculous.

Its like two movies about an alien invasion sueing each other

TekoIie4383d ago

I understand why he's sueing but he's pretty much trying to say he "owns" a simple idea of looking into ancestral memories that are stored in our DNA...

Its like if EPIC sued another game developer for making a game where the bad guys are albino miners..... sorta...

-Gespenst-4383d ago

It's an understandable frustration if his fiction is actually that similar, but like, deal with it. He'll probably be murdered if he actually prevents this game from being released, and based on the timing he sounds like a complete opportunist. He knows Ubi probably have enough cash at this point so he's trying his luck.

If the latter is true this guy's a scumbag.

Non-playable characters in certain games are meme material, thanks to their foolish behavior. These are the big-budget games with the dumbest NPCs.

Bethesda makes the most consistently stupid NPCs, like really bad... yet I still can't help but love playing their games. Guilty pleasure, I guess. *sigh* 😩

How did redfall not make the cut.

Every Bethesda game and Every Halo game. This list needed to have Cyberpunk somewhere.

My first thought was the safe rooms in the resident evil series. When you hear that enchanting music you know you’re safe.

Killer2020UK274d ago

I literally just came here to post this. That music in the Resi 1 safe rooms is playing in my head.

Rimeskeem273d ago

I was thinking TLOU work benches. Although I remember one time where it was a false security.

closed_account273d ago

Perfect. 👌👌

I'd add the top of my highrise apartment in GTA Online. That calm, quiet peace, just knowing as soon as I step out that door I will be bombarded by 8 and 12 year olds calling each other n**** and f****, trolled by combat jets and rocket launchers.

The entire map of SotC is peaceful as hell. Used to just ride around exploring it.

mastershredder274d ago (Edited 274d ago )

Afterlife in Cyberpunk 2077 is a peaceful area? Erm, hands down and very hard to miss, Misty Olszewski's Esoterica is the absolute epitome of peaceful areas in that game.

raiden_188273d ago

The "last of us" deer location i found to be a welcoming respite. It was nice to not have someone trying to eat me.

RPGer273d ago

Kingdom Hearts tend to present half peaceful areas and most of them are amazing.

'Assassin’s Creed III': Ten Years Later

With the recent reveal of Assassin’s Creed Mirage and the promise that the series will return to its roots, there hasn’t been a better time to get stuck into Assassin’s Creed’s back catalog, whether it’s replaying an old favorite or getting lost in previously looked-over classic.

Ten years later, we miss the old you, Assassin's Creed.

Popsicle548d ago (Edited 548d ago )

I really enjoyed Assassins Creed 3. My only complaint was that I didn’t enjoy when I had to switch from Connor to Desmond. It’s a personal preference, but Connor’s story was just more fun for me.

On a side note, Black flag was the most enjoyable of the AC games I played.
