Ferrari Challenge Updated Hands-On by Gamespot

Guy Cocker writes, "Ferrari Challenge is yet another attempt at capturing the mystique of the Ferrari brand and distilling it into videogame form. Sega produced a dedicated arcade game back in 1999, and recent games such as Project Gotham Racing 4 and Forza Motorsport 2 have included their fair share of the Italian manufacturer's cars. However, none of them will be as comprehensive as Ferrari Challenge, which will eventually offer the entire back catalogue of Ferrari cars to race on some of the world's most famous tracks."

I can't really get into this game for some reason.

Fluffy2Duffy5959d ago

I agree, u don't want to drive the same car over and over, i mean Ferraris' cars, It truely look good but i prefer the new Toca race driver game with variety of cars, i guess it won't sell well...

Yu Suzuki of Sega did the whole Ferrari thing years ago on a dreamcast board none the less! It was amazing and still is!!
THis game however looks to be sub par cheap knock off! I would rather wiat (perhaps forever!)for Sega to finally make a game like Ferrari 2 challenge and bring some dignity back to its Name! I meant Sega.

Sega Get off your Arses !!!!stop whoring yourselves and SOnic etc..
Where are the AM teams!!!
Where is the superior technical expertise !! we used to know!

Now here's an idea - game loyalty rewarded with cheaper sequels

GamesRadar writes: "System 3 is rewarding existing owners of Ferrari Challenge on PS3 by reducing the cost of its sequel, Ferrari: The Race Experience for its release on PSN tomorrow. It's not a massive reduction in price, as fans get it for £9.99 instead of £11.99, but a lot of companies would do well to follow their example."

Sounds like a great idea, doesnt have to be a huge difference but anything is always appreciated. Only issue i see with this is that you can only really do this with DLC type games that are tied to an account.

Cyrus3654958d ago

yeah i'm surprised companies haven't done so, like even a 5 dollar discount if you got last year madden (With access code or something) or last year call of duty.
