Dealspwn.com reports: "Last November, we featured Grand Class Melee in one of our Xbox Live Game Of The Week roundups; praising the multiplayer brawler's customisation options, smooth action and great visuals. Gigatross Games has now announced a sequel for the PC, "adding online multiplayer and expanding the game in every conceivable way," but will need to secure some crowd funding in order to get the ball rolling."
With the advent of the Internet, multiplayer-focused games have steadily shifted from being planned-out local affairs to quick online matches. An increasing number of these games have dropped local multiplayer entirely, limiting you to Internet multiplayer or single player only. Still, couch multiplayer is a tried and true video game experience; sitting down with some buddies and virtually beating each other up can be a much more rewarding experience than doing so over the Internet. For those that want to relieve the days of multiplayer yore, there’s always Grand Class Melee 2.
A nice little nugget of gaming available for fairly cheap, though online multiplayer would help complete the package.

While still not released in its full capacity, the developer has created a solid platform to build on as the gameplay is tight and responsive, and other features and tweaks added later can turn it into a fleshed out and grand experience. Dubbed an ‘RPG arena fighter’, the premise of Grand Class Melee 2 consists of taking players through 8 lightning rounds of 4 v 4 action as classes and adapted fluidly after each round, with new abilities unlocked and combos triggered as the sessions get hectic near the penultimate 8th round."
