Destructoid- Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning -Teeth of Naros Review

Destructoid- If there will ever be end-game DLC with more challenging areas for veterans players of Reckoning, perhaps the new loot in "Teeth of Naros" will make it worth picking up in preparation. Until then, this is a piece of DLC reserved for either the most die-hard of fans who just can't get enough, or for players who need the distraction and change of scenery before they finally finish the core game.

Alive2Play - Big Huge Games and 38 Studios Collapse Due to Financial Problems

You probably have heard of the game Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning and its supposed 2 DLCs - The Legend of Dead Kel and Teeth of Naros. Reckoning was released on February 7, 2012. Today, it seems we are very far from any more Content development on the Reckoning Franchise.

seems as though this issue was caused by their inability to pay a loan given to them by rhode island government. in the light of what you say Drazz I can agree that Reckoning was overshadowed by Mass Effect 3's release a month later and lost momentum.

It's like releasing an MMO just before or after Diablo III has been released.

BaltimoreGamer sources confirmed both 38 studios and Big Huge Games announced layoffs across both companies. Our information was later confirmed when multiple employees via Facebook and LinkedIn updated their job status to “Ended work at Big Huge Games” and the same was noticed for some at 38 studios.

Shame. While I liked Kingdoms, I was really looking forward to their MMORPG.

I think it is safe to assume that it will never happen at this point.
