Typically speaking, the world of video games is based on cinematic experiences, not cinema candies. However, Capcom’s downloadable World Gone Sour is just that – a game based on the ever-popular Sour Patch Kids candy. Yes, seriously. In fact, the story of World Gone Sour is centered on a Sour Patch Kid making its way to its life long goal – to be eaten. Surprisingly enough, it turns out that this title is incredibly fun.
Advergaming has a horrible--and undeserved--reputation.
GotGame: At first glance, World Gone Sour looks like a game that’s sole purpose is to advertise something to you while you play. Fortunately, not only is that not the case, but Playbrains manages to pump out a rather enjoyable platformer that looks kiddy but somehow ends up being a little on the adult side.
