I can't wait to pick this game up. It'll be my first real fighting game for my Vita.

NukaCola4399d ago

I play this on PS3 and it's great. The challenges are awesome, the gameplay is solid and the story mode is really good. The Vita version is pretty much the definitive version to get. I can't believe they are hooking us up with the ultimate fighter on the go.

Snookies124399d ago

My only complaint is that I heard they weren't doing online support... D:

I wish that would get patched in or something later! Oh well though, at least it'll have Ad Hoc if nothing else to play with my buddies.

Godchild10204399d ago

@Snookies12. I don't know if it will have online support or only support ad-hoc, but the trophy list says to win 10 online Ranked matches, so I think it will have online support.

My question is will it support online over 3G and wifi or just wifi only? When may 1st comes arounf we will all find out. Mortal Kombat will be my first purchase of the month.

PirateThom4399d ago

@Godchild1020

Definitely won't support 3G. 3G isn't a strong or fast enough signal to support fast paced games.

LeShin4399d ago (Edited 4399d ago )

@Pirate thom

That doesn't seem to be true anymore. Seth Killian just recently confirmed that SFXTekken on the Vita is going to be online on wifi AND 3G!!

THATS the way ports shouldve done on the vita.
give them some exclusive content to give gamers a reason for buying it over the console version.

MastaMold4399d ago

Cant wait love Mortal Kombat gonna look great on that OLED Vita screen blood all over it

Lucretia4399d ago

to bad the animation is still stiff. Well this great for MK fans. Enjoy!

DrPepper4399d ago

this game will be shit online . since netherrealm is to cheap to make good netcode.

MasterCornholio4399d ago

I'm really interested in a good fighter. I can't decide between Street Fighter X Tekken, Mortal Kombat and Ultimate Marvel VS Capcom 3 for the Vita.

My favorite is always going to be Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3. I know some people didn't like the addition of the run button. But, man that game is burned into my memory from childhood, lol.

Relientk77183d ago

That's the one I played the most as a kid. Fun times gaming on my Sega Genesis, the memories

Terry_B182d ago

Deception, MK2, MK9, MKX ..rest.

Kakashi Hatake182d ago

MK2 will always be the best in the series. Been playing a lot of MK1 lately though. Definitely enjoying it more than any other NRS era MK game.

Tankbusta40182d ago

1 and 2 were cultural phenomenon's.

I will always have a special place in my memory for MK 1 and 2. You had to be there during that era at the arcades. Martial arts tournament fighting movies were still popular, and MK 1 was exciting. Real life motion captured characters done well (unlike Pit Fighter). A cast of characters we all liked like Bruce Lee(Lui Kang), Van Damme(Johnny Cage), the Lightning god(Raiden) from Big Trouble in Little China, and Ninjas, gotta have Ninjas. Goro was menacing as hell. The MK arcade had some of the best speakers similar to Killer Instinct as you could hear the loud crisp and bassy sound that was distinctly different than other arcades. MK 2 improved greatly on the controls and fighting mechanics
