Digital Chumps: World Gone Sour actually over delivers in visual appeal and potential humor, but falls short in regard to technical execution and pacing its content. Not unlike consuming an actual Sour Patch Kid, World Gone Sour starts off sharp and tasty but quickly dissolves into generic filler.

GotGame: At first glance, World Gone Sour looks like a game that’s sole purpose is to advertise something to you while you play. Fortunately, not only is that not the case, but Playbrains manages to pump out a rather enjoyable platformer that looks kiddy but somehow ends up being a little on the adult side.
