New Releases: April 8th – 14th 2012 – Fez, Sour Patch Kids, Skullgirls, And More

On the retail side of things, this week is extremely lacking. There are only two games you’ll be able to buy in stores, but the real story is on the downloadable front. As of right now, there will be 6 games spread across the PSN and Xbox Live, including the long-awaited Fez.

Definitely a smaller release week, but Skullgirls looks interesting and Persona 3:FES should be good for Persona fans.

Persona 3 Still Doesn’t Have The Modern Release It Deserves

TheGamer's Meg Pelliccio says: "Atlus has just launched ports of Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden to modern consoles, allowing old fans a chance to take a trip down memory lane while newbies can experience them for the very first time. Persona 5 and Royal saw the fanbase boom, so it’s no surprise that lots of fans have yet to check out these earlier titles. As much as I enjoy and would recommend both, I can’t help feeling that this launch missed the opportunity to settle an old score once and for all."

Skullgirls is Still a Classic 10 Years Later

Skullgirls arrived on Xbox 360 & PlayStation 3 a decade ago today. While the series has stagnated the original has stood the test of time.
