On the retail side of things, this week is extremely lacking. There are only two games you’ll be able to buy in stores, but the real story is on the downloadable front. As of right now, there will be 6 games spread across the PSN and Xbox Live, including the long-awaited Fez.
TheGamer's Meg Pelliccio says: "Atlus has just launched ports of Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden to modern consoles, allowing old fans a chance to take a trip down memory lane while newbies can experience them for the very first time. Persona 5 and Royal saw the fanbase boom, so it’s no surprise that lots of fans have yet to check out these earlier titles. As much as I enjoy and would recommend both, I can’t help feeling that this launch missed the opportunity to settle an old score once and for all."
Neither does Tales of the Abyss
At least P3 is playable on modern platforms whereas TotA was only rereleased on 3DS
Started it this weekend, for a min I thought there was no 3d exploration until I got into the dungeon. Just a weird choice with the static pic.
Skullgirls arrived on Xbox 360 & PlayStation 3 a decade ago today. While the series has stagnated the original has stood the test of time.
Random Nintendo shares Indie World highlights and impressions of Fez, There Is No Game: Wrong Dimension, and Aerial_Knight's Never Yield. Plus, The Great Ace Attorney, Microsoft's Switch on a shelf, and more.
Woo!!! Skullgirls!
tribes, Fez and Skull Girls are coming out next week?
Damn.
Definitely a smaller release week, but Skullgirls looks interesting and Persona 3:FES should be good for Persona fans.
