One thing it's never been, though, is realistic. Player death is a 'reset' button, and nowhere is that more keenly felt than in the hardcore platforming genre.

Is Square Enix’s 774 Deaths A Localized Version Of Nanashi No Game?

Siliconera writes, "Square Enix recently filed a trademark for 774 Deaths in Europe for use with video games. Before anyone ties it to Hitman or another Eidos intellectual property it’s not from Square Enix Europe. 774 Deaths is a Square Enix Japan project."
