SYDHiT writes - For the last few years Namco have been putting out terrible Ridge Racer games that simply take tracks from previous games and rehash them. It was just a little over a month ago that I reviewed the last game for the Vita, and as we all know, that game was the height of terrible Ridge Racers. So here comes Ridge Racer Unbounded, a game that I doubt even Namco knows exists because they’ve released it with zero marketing or optimism behind it. Don’t pay attention to Namco though – they do make bad Ridge Racer games after all – because Ridge Racer Unbounded is the best Ridge Racer game in years, though it helps that it’s not made by Namco and it’s not actually a Ridge Racer game.

I've tried it on my 760 & in all honesty it's not making any noticeable difference so I've switched it off & not bothering with it any more.
I game at 1080p as its the highest my monitor will go. I Used this DSR to play a few games at 4k but all it really did was decrease input sensitivity. After a good few retries & several close up inspections it does improve it but the difference is minute going on microscopic. At least on a 22" screen anyway, I would image it would be more noticeable on a bigger screen.
I see very little difference between the 1080p and the downsampled 4k. Frankly I can't tell much of a difference between my 1080p and my 1280p monitor, except for one being given 21" and the other being 30". Resolution past 1080p is the least important part of graphics. I think it's really about HDR, high def textures, number of polygons in a model, number of objects on screen, physics ..... We need to start putting increased horsepower to use improving gameplay. More enemies on screen, fully destructible environments, massive open world's, human like AI. The good news is a lot of this can be done server side. AI, massive persistent world's a and per the Crackdown demo, massive destructible environments. Wonder when we will get a mmo that looks like Crysis 3, has human fee liking AI like for a 5, destructible environments like Battlefield and particle/object physics like Crackdown. Also need to get rid of the redundant fetch quests and kill 20 spiders and replace with a great plot/story like BORDERLANDS or Balders Gate.
Hardcore Gamer: The must-haves here are Super Hexagon, Rush Bros., VVVVVV, Guns of Icarus Online and Ridge Racer Unbounded.
