Some of these sound suspicious to me, but I guess they make sense.

This list is dumb, when you make games there's more to game design then the fact that a previous game was first person. Call of Duty has been way more successful than any Medal of Honor game ever made, and that's because they changed the formula and really did a lot of things right. Same with Grand Theft Auto, same with Gears of War. No game was like GTA3 before there was GTA3 anyway, so the list is just dumb.

Missed the point entirely.

The connection between CoD and MoH is that the people who would eventually go on to make Call of Duty and found Infinity Ward developed MoH: Allied Assault while they were 2015 Inc.

With GTA they're talking about the first game. Without that, Rockstar North wouldn't have been founded, and by association, GTA V wouldn't have been made.

Don't think you read this properly.

@ Fatrez

That's an oversimplification of how game development actually works. 2015 inc didn't have an identical team to what it took to make CoD, even during the development of CoD3, the PS3 version was developed by a whopping 4 PEOPLE. It isn't the same team, and neither is the team who made GTA from GTA3 (which was the only time GTA ever became noticed or successful).

This is where the 3D GTA games (and more or less all sandbox games) owe from.

More interested in money than giving fans what they want. Such a shame

CrimsonWing6924d ago

With the amount of money they generated, I just don’t understand the scrubbing of this. It would’ve been fantastic for fans.

I really want to know who drove the decision to focus on multiplayer was it Rockstar or take two.

Because when online started taking off many of the studio leads began having falling outs and leading including a founder

Ikr mfs that greedy it's ridiculous

andy8524d ago

This makes me sad. Trevor was one of my favourite characters in gaming

One of the reason I believe once gta 6 release, most of us thoroughly play it, enjoy the world they crafted then after that no offline support, no dlc at all
