Shooting game fans will instantly recognize the name Shin'en. This is the developer behind Iridion 3D and Iridion 2, along with the legendary Nano Stray series for Nintendo DS. Now Shin'en Multimedia has returned with a dazzling new 3D shooter built exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS.
Nano Assault is a particularly fit game for going mobile as it has many short and intense levels that suck you in, especially with how well the 3DS's 3D actually works. Developed by Shin'en, they've made several smaller games that you may have come across, Art of Balance and FAST Racing League to name a few.
FanBolt writes: "Nano Assault EX was announced earlier this morning via Shin'en Multimedia's Twitter account. Nano Assault was originally released on the Nintendo 3DS as a retail title last December, and is now being re-released in digital form on the Nintendo eShop in Europe and North America. The initial release, a spinoff of their acclaimed Nanostray franchise, was met with favorable critical reviews. The new version is “based on the original release but with new game modes & options”."
believe me or not, but those are the best news for today (in gaming), I've waited for soo long of this game's announcement in Europe (no matter eshop or retail).. game has got lots of great reviews, graphics, which for me is better than Resident Evil 3ds..and other this: I just love shooters - shmups!!! we need more games like this and like Omega 5 (still waiting patiently for new on 3ds, hope it's not canned), Mushihimesama..pleaase, make some shmups for 3ds eshop in 3d, pleaaase!! :)
but still, I'm happy that at last I can buy it.. Shin'en are great devs who make good games and with good graphics on Nintendo platforms
Nintendo Life's Philip J Reed writes:
"Nano Assault is a gorgeous trip through the beautifully-rendered worlds of the human bloodstream. It's both punishingly difficult and endlessly satisfying, and it does an excellent job of keeping the action varied and the tensions high. The difficulty is bound to infuriate some potential customers, but the levels are fairly brief and can eventually be mastered. Apart from some small issues with slowdown and the frustrating tendency of enemies to spawn directly beneath you, Nano Assault is an easy recommendation for shmup fans, or anyone who really wants to see what their 3DS can do."
are there any news about Europe version?
