Ys: The Oath in Felghana is now available on Steam

DSOGaming writes: "Awesome news for all JRPG fans as XSeed Games’ Ys: The Oath in Felghana is now available on Steam. A complete 3D reimagining of the 16-bit console classic “Ys III: Wanderers From Ys,” Ys: The Oath in Felghana is a fast-paced action role-playing game with tight controls, Metroidvania-style exploration elements, intense combat with epic screen-filling boss battles, and a thrashing, percussive arranged soundtrack that’s been heralded by many as one of the best of all time."

How is this rpg?will i like this game if i'm really not into rpgs from japan.

The game is very old school. It is not a turn based jrpg but an action oriented game similar to games like Alundra & Secret of Mana.

It is considered a classic in the jrpg world & may get some getting use to though. If you have played & liked the PS2 game Ys: Ark of Napishtim the game follows the same format.

I suggest watching videos of it on youtube to get an idea of what the game is like so you can make a decision. I personally enjoy the series.

It's not a traditional JRPG. You can watch some videos for it.

So in this article I’ll be looking back at a history of the franchise on Sony’s handhelds, from its origins on the PSP right through the latest release on Vita, with an emphasis on the quality of the ports to the handhelds as well as any sales figures that are available, alongside a conclusion of how well the franchise has done on the platforms."

Oath at Fhelgana, Seven, Memories of Celceta and Lacrimosa of Dana are amazing games. I adore the Ys series, and Adol is one of my favorite JRPG characters ever.
