J.A.S.F. is quite fun while it lasts and the arcade style makes it approachable for even casual players. However after completing the campaign there isn't much reason to come back to the title. The multiplayer is disappointing due to the lack of players so it's probably worth making sure you have friends who play if this is important to you.

"One could be lead to believe that very little can go wrong in terms of all round presentation in an aircraft game as the action all takes place in the skies but let me assure you JASF is really badly done. By this I refer to the fact that the whole package offers very little in the atmosphere stakes with some all round poor graphics particularly in the form of the backgrounds which would not look out of place in the era of the PS2 and original Xbox. "
