PS Analog writes, "With PSN becoming a great place to re-release classic PS2 games with a new sheen of paint, trophies, and 3D support, here are a list of games that we want to experience again in pretty-o-vision. Of course, if you haven't experienced these games before a new lick of paint could more than entice you!"
As is they're coins down a sofa, some announced games seem to just disappear. So just where are these missing VR games?
For GTA SA
Meta made a lot of budget cuts and cancelled a fair few exclusive game contracts we don't know if this was cancelled but it's possible and this was announced prior to the release of GTA definitive edition which was slammed and eventually moved to be supported in house by Rockstar.
Since then we have just gotten the mobile versions a d they are actually the best way to play the definitive edition unfortunately the consoles never got a retrospective patch to implement the improvements they made in the mobile games.
But for VR we know a VR mode was found in the definitive editions game files thanks to data miners so seeming it was meant to be using the definitive edition as a base given its ue4 that makes sense. And the mode is there right now (some Polish may be required still) I would assume this is ready to go but meta got cold feet and cancelled it given the games reputation.
I do hope Rockstar forge ahead and still just launch it anyway on psvr2 as it's a game I've loved since day 1 on PS2 I'll even tolerate the de version to get it in VR
Hanzala from eXputer says, "Onimusha deserves a proper Resident Evil-style comeback as much as the other Capcom gems, and I'm glad they might get the chance after all."
Hell naw. I voted for breath of fire. It's thr best choice imo.
Please vote breath of fire.
Why, though? With Nioh, Sekiro, and every other From Software game with a Samurai build in it, what's the point? The lore? Was it really so unique and interesting that it warrant this "beg Capcom" movement Capcom keeps telling us we need to do all these years? Fudge no. Either make a game or don't but stop this "fans need to game beg or else" bs.
Take Castlevania for example. What's the point in a new entry? From Software literally gave us the entire plotline in Bloodborne with Cainhurst Castle and then some. They also let you play as a Belmont/Alucard build in most of their other games so a new Castlevania is not warranted. Now, if Konami wants to do something, sure, but otherwise? I ain't begging. I'm good actually.
These companies are ran by idiots, that's for sure. Read the market. See the games that are coming out that people are loving and if you have an old IP that fits the bill? Well? Do something about it ya goofs! Otherwise? Let the IP go to the public domain. Trust me, bro. The internet will do a far better job - and worst - than you ever will with all these dormant or dead IPs.
Some Indie devs are even making Dino Crisis like games and people are excited for it. And what is Capcom doing? Sending surveys...FFS!
Get the fudge out of here Crap.com
Like the film or television industry, the world of gaming has seen its fair share of reboots over the years. While some of these video game reboots have had
Grand Theft Auto would be nice. I'd prefer the Liberty City from GTA4, however. The city in GTA3 was too small.
Never got around to playing the others, so I'm not picky either way.
I'm honestly pretty surprised they haven't put together a GTA collection. Seems like it would be a perfect fit for that sort of thing.
No Kingdom Hearts? Great list, other than that.
i want the getaway goddammit. if not a new title, at least a hd remake of the other 2.
I wouldn't mind the Xenosaga games getting an HD remake.
