Resident Evil Operation Raccoon City DLC Located on Disc

It seems that Capcom is going the same route that EA is taking with launch day DLC on the disc. There is no word if all this DLC is the same content that comes in the Special Edition of the game or if it a collection of store specific pre-order DLC.

Lacking or having interest is not the point at this stage, it's their greedy tactics of trying to sell something already present on the disc...that's what annoys me.

Capcom unfortunately continues to keep up with their shitty ways. People would normally vote with their wallets - not buy the stupid thing; but others go the extra step by pirating the game - THEY DESERVE IT.

If you're referring to the Games TM Magagzine Review (Of which they scored the game 3/10), they had no right publishing their review so early. Why? Men lie, women lie, numbers dont. 380K pre-orders disagree with the notion that the game sucks. Capcom announced the Spec-Ops DLC will be free. Its probably the primary DLC on disc. Xtra outfits and guns are available if you pre-ordered the game. 100% guaranteed there already on disc. What else you wanna whine about? Trolls will be trolls.

Agree. The only way this will ever stop is if gamers take a stand. Boycott companies. Don't spend money when things like this happen. This is the only way they'll get the message - when greed starts to cost them dearly. Our feedback comes from our wallets. If we want a change, we NEED to change. But this won't happen anytime soon (if ever...) and this practice will only get worse (and more popular among more developers).

True, this is not something that can be done overnight, but it CAN be done. Us gamers (some of us anyway) are partly to blame for this because we keep on supporting their stupid ideas. This in return keeps them motivated in coming up with new ways to rip us off. They'll continue to work and implement these tactics as long as the market or demand for it exists.

For example, how Capcom (surprise!) is planning to charge for extra quick combos in Street Fighter X Tekken ( http://n4g.com/news/955407/... They'll go ahead and do it , and sadly enough people will actually give in into this and buy the combos.

Looking at the past and how games used to be, and looking at the present, I agree with you - it will only get worse.

This depends on what the content is, if this is skins and models that are used in multiplayer then it makes sense to have it on the disk. If it wasn't there and if you were playing with someone who has the DLC, and who is using the skin/model in your game, you wouldn't be able to see the person you're playing with.

If not then it's blatant profiteering.
