The sheer stupidity of this article has left me speechless.

Anyone up for a euthanasia debate? I'll be pro.

Even if they do an award winning job of the graphics, there will still be a 20,000 strong petition because they included a rainbow somewhere that wasn't in the original :D

In all honesty, I don't want them to change the graphics drastically. A nice touch up, comprehensive resolution support and an appealing price is all they really need for these.

just get the multiplayer working flawlessly, throw out tools to modders, support widescreen resolution with interface fixes (can already play the game at any res with mods but the text is too tiny in 1080p and too much of the map is revealed)

Can't wait, already own and love them all but will buy all that they remake, hopefully icewind dale is next and a continuation of temple of elemental evil!

and hey, while i'm at it, remake planescape;torment.

If you are anything like me, a lot of what you do for work, for fun, and for staying in touch with friends depends on the great and mighty World Wide Web. So, imagine what would happen if the gang of neighborhood cats chewed through the power cords, cutting off your electricity. Or the alien hackers from outer space sent a destructive virus that crumbles the infrastructure of the internet in a matter of seconds. Devastating disasters like this could come in more mundane forms as well. Maybe your parents turn off your service or you are going on a trip to a remote, Wi-Fi-less destination.
