Firaxis Games' Lead Designer, Jake Solomon, is well aware of the potential pitfalls of bringing back a beloved series while making it appeal to both fans of the original and new gamers who may not even know the original exists. He's abundantly aware of the dilemma because he is one of those fans of the original XCOM, yet he is working on a game that he hopes will demand the attention of a larger audience. In his own words, one of the goals behind the deign of Enemy Unknown was to "be respectful, and then be fearless."
XCOM: Enemy Unknown rebooted the series back in 2012, and has since inspired numerous new strategy game series to be born.
If someone gets into this I'd recommend getting the enemy within version. It's got all the dlc included so it's the better version. Wish the author would've atleast mentioned it. I didn't see it.
Fantastic game though. Xcom 2 is top notch also. I've spent countless hours in these games.
The help desk platform used by 2K Games for its customer support has been hacked, with malicious emails sent to certain players.
I was one of those users that got an email. Good thing I didn't open it. The email is from actual 2k support so I'm sure many people opened them. Scary stuff Take Two. You guys should invest some of your billions of dollars into some advancements for network security. I wonder who's getting hacked next at Take Two. First GTA 6 and now this.

Summer camp at Hackett’s Quarry is ending and night is falling, but a small group of counsellors decide to capitalise on their van breaking down and have one last night of summer fun.
I miss these types of games on consoles. Bring more Sim City, Theme Hospital, Sim Earth, and Theme Park type games. I love games with strategy because it never gets old.
