Omegalodon, the B-movie inspired, stomp-around-a-city-destroying -it-as-a-huge-shark-monster game, has now been released on Desura.
Not all games can live a good concept and the proof is Omegalodon. Omegalodon is a 100% online game that puts players divided into teams, one on the Monster Omegalodon which gives its name to the game and one against it. The goal is simple, if Omegalodon will have to go to a reactor and destroy it, if a soldier of the same team will have to protect the monster. Otherwise will have to try to defeat Omegalodon before it can fulfill its purpose.
The concept is interesting and for lovers of Godzilla and other Toho films of the concept becomes interesting to genius. Will have to destroy a whole city in order to reach the objective and how there are some barriers that do not allow us to move forward in a straight line will have to destroy many buildings. Unfortunately almost everything else makes this concept never reaches its full potential, especially with regard to the balance between the two teams and the fact that no full servers.
