Everyone here has heard the term "development hell" and it exists for video games as much as it does for any industry. Oftentimes when games get cancelled mid-cycle, it's usually because it becomes clear that they aren't going to be very good to begin with. So it really is a mercy killing.
But there are times when a game in development looks really good and then for reasons never revealed it just never ever sees the light of day. Here's a list of eight titles that certainly looked like they had the right ingredients to be hits, but then never got released.
Ubisoft is working on XDefiant netcode and hit registration improvements, as tuning on sniper flinch and camera shake are incoming.
Hardcore Gamer Writes "If you've been dying to know if Yahtzee Crowshaw's recent indie game stands out from the crowd, then find out in our Starstruck Vagabond Review."

Aye indeed, SC Ghost would have been most interesting. Although not on the list there was that WoW game - adventury, rpg-y game. Can't remember it name though
There are so many more than 8!
The Original "Eight Days in Fallujah" was gonna be the most Raw and Grittiest Military Shooter ever until FOX News started complaining and the Devs turned it into a PG adventure and now what ever it is today!
