Mass Effect 3 caters for both old and new fans but to get the most out of the experience it is well worth playing the previous games first. Your decisions really do impact on what happens and the result is a unique and very personal experience for each player. It manages to achieve what many thought impossible and brings a satisfying conclusion to the trilogy. Put simply Mass Effect 3 is a masterpiece.
Based on one narratively fitting ending in Mass Effect 3, Prothean squadmate Javik is highly unlikely to return in the next Mass Effect game.
